NL - Dinsdag 9 april 2013: lessen sport, gezondheid en scheikunde

De tweede dag van de conferentie is een dag vol met lessen: sport, gezondheid, scheikunde, enz. Sommige leerlingen hadden 's avonds nog energie genoeg en zijn nog gaan zwemmen in het Sonsbeek-zwembad.

Er kwam een mevrouw uitleg geven over drugs en alcohol. Ze stelde zich eerst voor, vertelde wat voor werk ze deed en wat ze voor Kentron doet.
Ze liet een presentatie zien over drugs en alcohol. Ze vroeg ook aan iedereen of hij/zij wel eens in aanraking was geweest met drugs en hoe vaak we per dag of per week alcohol drinken. De meeste leerlingen uit het buitenland waren wel eens in aanraking geweest met alcohol want sommigen waren ouder dan 18.
Ze vertelden ook aan ons wat illegaal en legaal is .
In de presentatie liet ze zien wat je zag als je alcohol of drugs had gebruikt. De buitenlandse leerlingen stelden veel vragen.
Aan het einde van de les had de mevrouw nog een quiz met vragen over alcohol en drugs. Iedereen kon daaraan meedoen want er waren steeds twee antwoorden. Als je antwoord een goed vond stak je je hand op en als je antwoord twee goed vond stak je ook je hand op.
Aan het einde van de les zei ze tegen iedereen dat we moesten oppassen dat we niet verslaafd raakten.

There was a woman who came to give explanation about drugs and alcohol. First she introduced herself, told what kind of work she did and what she does for Kentron.
She showed a presentation about drugs and alcohol. She also asked everyone whether he/she had been in touch with drugs and how often we drink alcohol a day or a week. Most of the students from abroad had ever been in touch with alcohol because some were older than 18.
She also told us what is legal and illegal.
In the presentation, she showed us what you saw when you had used alcohol or drugs. The students from abroad asked many questions.
At the end of the lesson the lady also had a quiz with questions about alcohol and drugs. Anyone could participate because there were two answers. If you liked answer one you raise your hand and if you liked answer two you also raise your hand.
At the ends of the lesson she told everyone that we had to be careful that we were not addicted.

De buitenlandse leerlingen hebben ook een aantal lessen gevolgd in de klas van de gastleerling. In mijn geval was dat soms lastig want er waren te weinig tafels en te weinig stoelen. Ook spraken de docenten het grootste gedeelte van de les Nederlands en dan moest ik het vertalen. Tevfik en ik hebben de lessen rts en m&o gevolgd.
De buitenlandse docenten hebben ook les gegeven aan diverse tweede klassen. Dit waren onder andere lessen aerobics, M&M en een les scheikunde.

The foreign students also followed a few regular lessons in the class of the host students.
Ik my case it was sometimes difficult because there were not enough tables and chairs. The teachers spoke most part of the lessons Dutch, so I had to translate it.
Tevfik and I followed the lessons rts and M&O.
The foreign teachers also gave lessons to several classes. This lessons include lessons in aerobics, M&M and chemistry

Dinsdagmiddag gingen we indoor voetballen in de gymzaal van onze school. Meneer van Trijp gaf deze les. Dat deden dat met de helft van de groep. De andere helft ging de samenwerkingsopdracht doen.
We werden verdeeld in 3 groepen want er waren 3 onderdelen: pionnenvoetbal,  partijtje voetbal en lummelvoetbal.
Bij pionnen voetbal moest je de pion van de ander omschoppen.
Bij partijtje voetbal moest je vier tegen vier spelen en proberen te scoren.
Bij lummelvoetbal moesten twee spelers de bal afpakken en overspelen naar de andere spelers.
Iedereen vond het erg leuk. De leraren hebben ook meegedaan.

Tuesday afternoon we played indoor soccer in the gym at our school, Mr. van Trijp gave these lesson. We did this with half a group. The other half went for the working together task.We were divided into 3 groups as there were 3 parts: pawns football, football game and “lummel” football.In pawns football you had to kick off the pawns of the other.In the football game you played four against four games and you had to try to score.In “lummel” football two players had to steal the ball and played the ball to the other playersEveryone really enjoyed it. The teachers also participated.

Voor de samenwerkingsopdracht kregen we eerst allemaal een stok. We moesten rondjes rennen. Als de meneer yes zei, dan moesten we de stok neer leggen en de stok van degene voor je pakken. Daarna als de meneer yes zei, moesten we de stok op de grond legen en de stok van degene achter je pakken.
Hierna maakten we tweetallen. We gingen tegenover elkaar staan. Als de een de stok losliet dan moest de ander proberen de stok vast te pakken, zonder dat de stok de grond raakte.
Tot slot verdeelden we de groep in 2 groepen. We gingen in een kring staan. Nu moest je de stok van degene rechts van je pakken.
Voor de volgende opdracht hadden we een grote mat en 4 kleine matjes nodig. De bedoeling was dat de grote en kleine matjes naar de overkant kwamen zonder de grond te raken.
Daarna kwam de regel erbij dat de kleine matjes niet op de grote mat mochten komen. Vervolgens de regel dat je de mat moest draaien. Daarna dat je de mat met de lange kant moest draaien. En tot slot dat je met de korte kant moest draaien.

Working together

We all got a stick for the working together task. We had to run laps. If the teacher said yes then we had to put the stick down and take the stick from the student in front of you. Then when the teacher said yes we had to put the stick on the ground and take the stick from the student behind you.
Then we made pairs. We stand in front of each other. If one of us dropped the stick, the other one had to catch it. It was not allowed that the stick hit the ground
In the end the group was divided in two groups. We had to make a circle and then catch the stick from the one next to you.
For the next task we need a large mat and 4 small mats. The intention was that the large and small mats get to the other site of the gym, without touching the ground.
Then came the rule that the small mats were not allowed to touch the big mat. Then came de rule that you must turn the mat. Then that you had to turn the mat with the long side, en in the end with the short side.
